[Machine Translation] The new album by Yusuke Chibba, a.k.a. SNAKE ON THE BEACH, is a work that shows a new frontier for Chibba. The 17 tracks were carefully selected from more than 50 songs that Chibas recorded alone in the studio since one year after the release of his last album "SNAKE ON THE BEACH" (2012). The noisy, ambient, and abstract songs, which express Chibas's mental landscape, are given a vessel in the form of an album, and form an ups and downs story. Many of the songs are instrumental, but there is room for imagination, and after listening to the album, one feels a sense of fulfillment, as if one had just watched a great movie. The DVD contains image videos of all the songs and self-liner notes, featuring photographs taken by Yusuke Ciba himself.

SNAKE ON THE BEACHことチバユウスケの新作は、チバの新境地を示した作品。前作『SNAKE ON THE BEACH』(2012)リリースの1年後から、チバが1人スタジオにこもり、コツコツと録りだめてきた50曲以上から精選した17曲。チバの心象風景を表すようなノイジーでアンビエントでアブストラクトな楽曲たちは、アルバムという器を与えられ、ひとつの起伏のあるストーリーを形作っている。楽曲の多くはインストだが、イマジネーションを掻き立てる余白があり、アルバムを聴き終わったあとは、まるで一編の優れた映画を鑑賞したような充実感がある。美しく詩情豊かな傑作である。DVDには、チバユウスケ本人撮影の写真を中心に構成された全曲分のイメージビデオとセルフライナーノーツを収録。
